Negotiating and Influencing at Work
This introductory one day course is for anyone who needs to negotiate, influence or manage conflict in a business setting. By the end of the course, participants will feel more confident in these situations and have clearer understanding of what successful negotiating and influencing means. In particular, participants will be able to:
- Manage business relationships and negotiate/influence effectively in a wide range of situations
- Consider body language and it‘s important role in the way we influence
- Describe the difference between aggressive, passive, passive-aggressive and assertive behaviours and behave assertively in negotiating and influencing situations
- Manage conflict using one of a range of strategies to dif-fuse difficult situations
